My sister had a baby and I yarnbombed her bed. The best part about it was that all of her doctors & nurses knew of the local yarnbombs and they love it! The nurses did not want her to cut the yarnbomb off the bed but (of course) the nursing manager said no way can that stay on there!
When you have unusually warm temperatures in Ohio in January, you pack up your yarnbombs and head out for some bombing!
Toledo.com asked me if I wanted to be part of a crowdtilt campaign to raise money for the streetspun 2013 yarn fund! we met and talked about it and then it went live. The goal was set at $500 in three weeks. If you get to the goal with donations within the set time period you get the money for your cause. You can go over but if you don’t make the goal, you get nothing. I was a bit nervous to see how it would work and within the first 24 hours, it tilted! I was overwhelmed with happiness and joy! I love this city Toledo, Ohio and I will not let you down! I will make it as colorful as I can! TOLEDO PROVIDES! THANK YOU!
It’s pretty obvious that I love color. Everybody needs to have color in their life. This is a perfect example of life with and without color at The Love Wall
